Late in the evening of October 27th, 2008, Luke was critically injured by a wrong-way driver while riding his motorcycle to work for the Border Patrol in San Diego. We will use this site as communication to and from the Dithrich family. Please feel free to leave comments for the family.

Look at that smile!!!!!!What a guy!!! You hang in there buddy! We're praying for you. And I saw Becky and Eric at the VFW spaghetti dinner. I asked about progress on getting the Jeep taken care of. If it isn't resolved I told them I wanted to forwrd your blog address and info to Bill O"Reilly........I bet he can get some action. I'll do it too so keep us informed. Enjoy your warm sunny weather. Looking good, Luke. You have come a long way from the pictures we saw before. I think you have put some of your weight back on & you look more like the picture before the accident, except for the beard. LOL Keep up the good work & know that you are in our prayers all the time. Lois & Del
