Luke is improving with each day of therapy. He is able to do more exercises and to work longer and with more weight on the devices. The workouts do tire him out and he likes to get as many naps in between sessions and meals as possible. Paula and I participated today, working on helping him in and out of a vehicle. We are taking him back to UCSD tomorrow morning for an appointment with the trauma team and then to another appointment up the road in La Jolla for an appointment with the doctor that repaired his elbow last week.

Luke, Bill and Paula,
We check daily to read about your progress and haven't taken the time to comment. Luke you are doing phenomenal in your recovery and we are thankful for that. Keep up the good work. Bill and Paula, you are two of the strongest people we know and want to tell you thanks for updating this blog every day. I probably wonder if anyone is reading it at times since there haven't been many comments lately. But, I want you to know that we do read it every day and praise God every night for Luke and your family.
We would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and hope that you get to enjoy the day.
Love,
Mike, Bonnie, Andrew and Morga
