Luke has a new nephew! Ian Kenneth Miller was born to Becki and Eric at 7:15 a.m. Eastern Time. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 11 ozs. and is 21 in. in length. All are doing fine.

Late in the evening of October 27th, 2008, Luke was critically injured by a wrong-way driver while riding his motorcycle to work for the Border Patrol in San Diego. We will use this site as communication to and from the Dithrich family. Please feel free to leave comments for the family.

That must make our friend, Bruce, a Great Uncle ?? :-) Luke, you keep improving & thank your dad for keeping us all updated (he has done a wonderful job of it)& thanks to your Mom & Dad for all the loving care they have given to you. Congratulations on the new baby. Great to hear of Luke's progress. I have been following his progress since Bonnie told me about the blog. Mike is still in ICU but he's close behind Luke in his progress. Looks like he'll be leaving the ICU soon too.
Congrats for the new baby. I'm sure PJ can't wait to see her new grandson. Glad to hear that uncle Luke is improving each day.
